Gary Thomson Driving School offers a “Road Test Prep Service” on the day of the road test. We would arrive (most times) between 6:30 – 7:00 A.M. The majority of students who have attended our school have early road test times. Prior to the exam, on the ride to Eatontown DMV, we would allow for time to become comfortable with the driving school car.
In addition, the Gary Thomson Driving School instructor would prep the student in all the “sticky points” of the road test i.e. Parallel parking, k-turns, backing (going in reverse in a straight line for 50 ft.) and reiterate some of the do’s and don’ts on the exam. When the Gary Thomson Driving School instructor feels a certain confidence level is apparent, we would go to the road test area and the DMV personnel would administer the road test.
